The Rites of Passages

"Peanut butter," Dad growled through his cigar-stained, urine-colored teeth. "You need to try peanut butter-"
His sentence broke, and he paused to cough up some back throat intruder. And then, "-That's always worked for the two of us."
It's hard for me to remember a conversation about anything with my father that turned out semi-normal, but even this suggestion came as a surprise.
"Really?" I replied, breathing somewhat nervously. This undoubtedly was leading into a story.

Not to get up in CJ Mahaney's grill, but sex is actually wrong. There is only glory in abstaining. And the peanut butter thing...well that's just a myth. Trust me.

Thanks for showing me this quote Russell; that was nice of you. But Mahaney is a fool.
